Recipe: Morning Quinoa Bowl

Vegan and Gluten Free!

Ingredients:

1 cup quinoa 

2 cups almond milk

2 tbsp cinnamon 

2 tbsp agave syrup

1 tsp salt 


Directions:

1. Rinse quinoa in a colander under cool water for 5 minutes or until water runs clear 

2. Combine all ingredients in a medium sauce pan and bring to a boil (as the mixture heats up try to stir it slightly to combine all the cinnamon and syrup evenly throughout then leave it alone to bubble)

3. Once at a boil cover the mixture with a lid and turn the heat on low. Let cook for 20 minutes until all the liquid is absorbed 

4. Once cooked, remove from heat and fluff quinoa before serving

5. Add nuts, fruit, extra cinnamon, milk, maple syrup, or whatever you desire!
